I don't know what got into me last night. Maybe it's that I keep seeing really cute knit things. I picked up my needles and proceeded to make this little fellow out of scrap yarn from this free pattern here! He's only about the size of a doll's toy. It called for size 2 needles, which I didn't have... but that never stopped me!! I also learned how to make an i-cord. Did you know that the "i" stands for idiot? I figured it was something I could manage to teach myself! I completed the whole thing while watching American Idol last night. Who didn't guess that it would be a David vs. David finale?!!
I've also been having a lot of fun today, learning and playing with iMovie on my Mac and then in Caroline's classroom today with the students! They filmed their puppet shows and are editing their videos now. Can you believe tomorrow is already Friday?!!

Peanut's class used the Macs to make podcasts of their book reports. It was priceless! I have lots of TODOS on my summer list regarding this Macbook. It is contagious.
Your little guy is adorable. Glad to see you pulled your needles out.
I love your little knitted bunny! He is so cute. I saw those patterns and now I know I have to try....I laughed out loud when I first heard an i-cord was an idiot cord! I thought, hey I can do that - I can be quite the idiot!
I am busy knitting the last sleeve of a baby jumper - I had to make it red, white and blue instead of just white and blue like the rest of the jumper as I ran out of white yarn - I guess one funny arm could look cute!
Can't wait to hear how the puppet movies turned out!!
Great job, your little knitted bunny is adorable.
Before you know it you'll be knitting sweaters!
Thanks for the laugh about the i-cord, that was so funny.
Really, where has this week gone.
I'm so jealous that you can just sit and knit something on a whim. I have a knitting block. I have been taught 3 times and 3 times I have forgotten!
I'm so so glad tomorrow is Friday! Love the knitted bunny!
I am so insanely jealous that you can knit and that you have been able to turn your hand to one of Julie's little creations! I am going to try and figure out knitting this winter...it is on that extensive to do list of mine! - JEn
One more thing...a rabbit's gestation period is very short. How many more rabbits have you made???
