See my abortion ticker on the right side of this blog! Gianna Jessen appears in this commercial after being burned alive for 18 hours in her mother's womb, but still survived and was born with cerebal palsy. She was adopted. It makes me cry. (the video doesn't have anything scary... just Gianna all grown up, looking beautiful and telling you why it's important to her to stop partial birth abortion!)
This morning Craig discovered this little guy making a web from the porch railing to the bush! I quickly took a photo so I could look him up! He is a Marbled Orb Weaver or Araneus Marmoreus... and NOT poisenous! Whew! I added my photo here.
I found the funniest site on Naomi's blog called Yearbook Yourself! Which year suits me best?

Lastly, after all that scary stuff, I thought I'd show you what Jen sent to me a week or so ago!! The kids adore him and so do I! He's not a scary monster but a pretty cuddly one!
(Thanks for your comments on the last post! I love to hear all sides of the election. Feel free to leave more!!! Olivia is right... chocolate does make everything better! ;) Hope your week is starting off with a BANG!!)

I just can't bring myself to watch the abortion thing! Sorry. But I like 1976! They all crack me up.
What is this Araneus Marmoreus !?! Is it a costume special spiders for Halloween ?
Funny Hair Game :) I like 2008 :)
So, it's time for me to have one of those Swiss chocolates with edelweiss liquor filling from Fribourg (CH) ;)
Have a lovely day :)
OH OLIVIA... send some this way!!!!
Don't worry... that video isn't scary to look at.. I added that in the text!
Thanks for the 1976 vote... sporting a fro... yeah, that's me for sure!!!
Back to running--good for you! :)
The video is truly sad and I really hope Obama will support their cause.
I am so proud of you for starting your running back up! You have given me some motivation to add some sort of physical activity into my routine. I think it's what I need to jumpstart my weight loss again. I've kind of hit a plateau over the summer months and into the fall. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the election...I agree that the outcome could be pretty scary!
What a cool looking spider, it is nice that it is not poisinous!
Thanks for a good chuckle, the photo's are funny, I think 1976 is my favorite.
I REMEMBER those hairdos. Do you know how scary that is??!
I knew about Habu because of Rebecca's blog; that's why I went into the Habu booth. Rebecca's Habu sweaters are so beautiful.
Love the yearbook shots! What a creative idea.
Anyway, have fun with the running. I've never enjoyed it. Remember those days running around the block? It makes me laugh. I'd like to do it but am not motivated. I'll stick with the biking until it gets too cold. What a great plan to break it down into small milestones. You will be successful!
Your blogs do make me think and question what I believe. Thanks for making me use some brain cells:)
I think that Corbert looks right at home at the Hissong home. I'm glad he got there safe and sound. You're right. The 2008 is the best...but I'm a bit partial to the Marcia Brady 1974 model as well. Might be because that was the year I was born though! Jen
You are so pretty :o)
